In the story Der zufriedene Fischer “The Satisfied Fisherman” by Heinrich Böll we meet a simple fisherman who knows the secret of a fulfilling life and an enterprising tourist who senses profit and profit everywhere. The tourist is neither “bad” or “cunning” nor “greedy”. No! He just is what he is. He has his own view of things and just wants to help the fisherman. But often the need for real help is in the eye of the beholder and the fisherman helps the tourist see things differently. Maybe it will also help you to rethink your life priorities and align your life with what is really important and meaningful to you. And yes – it is and can be work.
