Summary:
A Kiss Before
Dying is a chilling
psychological thriller about a handsome and intelligent young man who will do
anything — even kill — to achieve wealth and success.
The story begins with the
man dating Dorothy Kingship, a rich college girl. When she becomes pregnant,
he fears her father will disinherit her, ruining his plan to marry into wealth.
To protect his future, he murders Dorothy and makes it look like a
suicide.
Dorothy’s death is
accepted at first, but later, her sister Ellen becomes suspicious. She
begins to investigate, determined to uncover the truth. The man, now dating
Ellen under a different identity, tries to stay ahead of her and even plans to kill
again.
The novel is full of
twists and turns, as the killer’s charm hides his dark and cold nature. In the
end, Ellen discovers his true identity, and justice is served.
